A concert like a spring day filled with birdsong: Maurice Steger—celebrated for his virtuoso playing and imaginative programs—brings a baroque fireworks display to Konstanz. Together with Argentine soprano Veronica Cangemi, he devotes himself to musical gems of the 18th century, all of which are inspired by birdsong.

From Vivaldi's tone-painting concertos to arias by Hasse, Fiorè, Handel, and others, to rarely performed overtures and treasures of the Italian Baroque – this program weaves song, instrumental art, and impressions of nature into a poetic concert experience in an intimate atmosphere.
