Chamber concert

Description

A varied chamber music program combines rarely performed works with a Romantic masterpiece: Charles Koechlin’s “Quatre Petites Pièces” open the evening with Impressionist sound miniatures. This is followed by Josef Rheinberger’s Sonata in E-flat Major, Op. 178, which captivates with its warm, late-Romantic sound and expressive melodies. The highlight of the evening is Johannes Brahms’s famous Horn Trio, Op. 40, performed in a special instrumentation featuring a natural horn—a work full of warmth and sonic depth.

In cooperation with the Tertianum Residenz in Konstanz.
