LISTEN UP! The Lake Constance Philharmonic podcast!

Episode 1 – 2025/2026 season

Is a medieval computist the forefather of today's navigation systems? Does fermented wine help when playing the glass harmonica? And was the beautiful Melusine really driven away by pious monks? The new podcast from the Lake Constance Philharmonic Orchestra tells the story of a round trip around the Swabian Sea, guided by artificial intelligence and natural music. The story of the unlikely pair, who discover many interesting facts along the way – and perhaps even themselves – follows the symphony concert programs and traces of culture and nature around Lake Constance. The route begins on the island of Reichenau – with works by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Mozart, Hillborg and Beethoven.
